So I think we are having some bad luck

I don't think... I know. So this weekend was supposed to be a nice relaxing holiday weekend. Scott had three days off which never happens and we were looking forward to relaxing. Ummm.... that didn't really happen. Friday we had to get all new tires on Scott's car because he had gotten a big hole in one of them. Our air stopped working and it was 111 with 35% humidity. Scott got it working again only to have it completely stop on Sunday when it had been 112. Fabulous! Luckily my parents live close and they were nice enough to let us stay with them until we can get a new one (we still don't know when that is because everyone's air is going out because of the heat). So we stayed the night at our extremely hot house Sunday night and packed the kids up early Monday to head over to mom and dad's. As we are getting in the car I hear "ARE YOU SERIOUS!" Ummm... yeah now my car has a flat tire because it has a nail in it. Unload the kids, switch cars and we get to go sit in the air conditioning while my hubby has to get he tire fixed. Poor guy! Needless to say we were happy for this weekend to be over!!!
As I am reading back over this post it sounds so negative! Sorry for that. Long weekend...not a lot of sleep and lots of heat make for a grumpy me! We did have fun on Sunday before our air went out. We went out to my sister's house to have a BBQ (oh yeah when we got there, there were thunder storms and the boys had to BBQ in the garage) and the boys played poker while i got to visit with my Mom and sis. So fun, I love hanging out with my family and I got lucky because Scott likes to hang out with them too! Okay time to go, my timer (Brendan) is telling me it's time to get off the computer!
