I wasn't sure if Megan was going to have a good time since she does not scrap. Our first class on Monday morning was a stamping class and although we were going on not a lot of sleep it was still fun. We made a 12 days of Christmas book that is SO cute. Melodee Langworthy taught the class for Hampton Art (who I am going to start buying from because I love their stamps) and she is SO nice! Here is our project...
Not only was the class fun but they gave us ink and the new Creative Cafe stamps. LOVE EM! I think that Melodee would say she was sick of us by the time we left because during class she showed us one of her projects for the booth. We both liked it so we went to go make it...
Hampton Art was very generous and gave us all of those chipboard flowers to go with the can. The booth had some many cute ideas that we looked at while we were waiting. While we were making our project, I asked Melodee what the project looked like for the afternoon. Megan fell in love with it so we came back to make it. First here's the cute pictures form the booth (the only pictures I took the whole trip)...
Loved the little flowers, they were made out of the chipboard flower pieces we were given. Spring bouquet?? My mind is working. When we came back in the afternoon the project was very involved. We were one of nine that were able to make the project and we waited almost hours to do it. I didn't care though because Melodee was so nice and the project was so cute. Megan really wanted to make it too. I am giving Melodee the credit for getting her interested in scrapping and stamping. We met two really nice ladies while we waited. Wish we would have had one more day in Vegas and we would have met them for drinks. They were fun! We exchanged business cards and told them to call us when they come out for CHA in Feb. So anyway, back on track here is he other project we did at the Hampton Art booth...

Sorry, I forgot to turn this one so you will have to turn your head instead.
Okay so this post is turning out to be way longer than expected and I have only gotten through ONE CLASS! So I think Memory Trends is going to be a three post edition. We'll rename this the Hampton Art/ Melodee Langworthy post. More later it's time for dinner!
