Why is it that I have all of these amusing stories that show how funny and brilliant and Fabulous my children are and then when I sign on I can't think of any of them?! I always have all of these topics I want to talk about and I just draw a blank. I know one important one though...
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY MOMMA!!!
Friday the 18th was her birthday and we went to P.F. Changs (her favorite restaurant) to celebrate. It was very yummy! My sister and I went in together and got her a Brighton purse with a matching wallet. It was very cute! Here is Mom after she blew out her candle (with her helper!)...

And this is Brendan singing happy birthday to Gigi...

Friday was a very busy day.
In the morning Scott and I went on a field trip with Kennedy to a horse ranch. She was way beyond excited about it. It was all she talked about for DAYS! Here is a picture of her petting a horse (he was 46 years old!)...

After the field trip my sister was nice enough to watch the kids while Scott and I went on a date. It was a bit of a romantic date. When you're married with kids those don't happen. It was funny because we were eating lunch and when we were done we just looked at each other. We didn't know what to do, it was like now what do we do? You forget how to act and what to talk about. It did turn out nice though. We went to Glen Ivy for the afternoon which for you non-southern California people it's an outdoor day spa. Here is a picture of part of our day...

We felt so spoiled because we had the cabana for just the two of us and while we were eating lunch they brought us a bottle of champagne. It was VERY romantic. We laid on chaises and relaxed then when it got too warm we went in the pool that was the perfect temperature. Then we do what most married with children couples do when they are alone....
SLEEP!
We fell asleep in the chairs by the pool and Scotty now has a burnt chest. We woke up just in time to get home and get ready for Mom's dinner. Ah, what a day!
Today was Kennedy's first official soccer game of the season. Scott was in a golf tournament with my Dad and I was teaching a class so my Mom and sister were nice enough to take her to her game. Her is a picture of the super star soccer player, Ms. Kennedy and she poses while playing goalie...
Okay enough babbles for tonight. Hopefully next time I will remember all of my witty stories to tell...
