Birthday fun!

Saturday we had Mr. B's birthday party. Wow was it cold! Did that stop all the kids from playing baseball? Not so much. They had the best time playing baseball. The funny part was that when they hit the ball none of them ran to first base. All of them ran straight to second base. Mr. B was in baseball heaven. Here's some pictures from the day (these are for you Charsie!)...

the Grandma's were wrapped up in jackets and blankets because it was so cold.

He received both of the things he had been asking for, an Angels hat and a batting helmet but hs favorite part of the day was birthday cake. One party down, We will have dinner on the actual day and his request is Panera. Off to develop pictures for my sample for my next class.

Baby Names

Scott and I always have trouble deciding on a name for our babies. This time around Mr. B has taken it into his own hands. He has it narrowed down to 2 names. According to Mr. B the baby will be named Elmo or Big Daddy Vladdy (as in the baseball player). With great names such as these how will we ever decide?

Someday my internet will work again

and i will be able to blog more often instead of when I go to my parents house. If I start to talk about it I will get frustrated so lets move on!

Lots of things going on in our household. We had quite a busy weekend. Soccer on Saturday and Ms. K scored a goal and played a great game! After the game my two boys left for the Ducks/Kings game at the Staples Center. Four rows from the ice spoiled them a bit.
When the game was over they decided they hadn't had enough sports for the day so they went to the Angels game. They didn't just go to the game, they sat in the front row. Scott said they were 15 feet from big Daddy Vladdy. Mr. B's favorite player in the whole world. He has a stuffed animal named after Big Daddy and when the angels are on he's all Mr. B talks about.
How exciting for my boy!
So while the boys were off playing Ms. K wanted to go to Gigi and Papa's. That left me childless at home. What to do?! I wasn't quite sure at first but then quickly decided on a day of nothing. It never happens that I am alone so I thought I would take advantage of it. I read my book, watched girly movies, scrapbooked an ate rocky road ice cream for dinner while I sat in bed and watched Under the Tuscan Sun. Could have been the greatest day in a long time! ahhh to be lazy again like that. Probably won't happen again for another 5 years! Oh well.
Yesterday was the big day! We went and had our first ultrasound. Scott, my Mom and the kids all went to the hospital to see the baby. The hospital was running late and my 5:00 appointment turned into 5:45. Anyone that has been pregnant knows that this is just plain torture! I could not go to the bathroom at all! By the time they called me in I was ready to burst! The baby was not being a cooperative baby and had turned sideways. After a search we were told "Looks like a boy!" The kids were so excited! Well, that's not the part that excited them the most. When the girl was taking a picture of the baby's face, he put his hand up and started to wave it around. It looked like he was waving to us. The kids were bouncing out of their seats, "He's waving at us! He's waving at us!" That's all they have talked about since. It was very cute. I am going to try and scan an ultrasound picture in. The girl took a picture of the baby waving at us so hopefully it will turn out. Sorry for the long post!

Year round school

is something i enjoy. Ms. K has time off throughout the year but I have to say the first week back on track is a killer. Ms. K was lucky to make it through the week in one piece. Good behavior choices were not at the top of her list of things to do. This lead to lots of timeout, restriction and misery for all of us. So glad the first week is over! short post, off to pay bills and order stuff for my next round of classes.
